 “A Time for Action”

By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”  John 13:35 (NASB)

1.     In an era of decline for the church, we’re going to take ground.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  John 3:16 (NKJV)

2.     This cause cannot lose.

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.  II Peter 3:9 (NASB)

3.     We are to be like Jesus
11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. 13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.  Ephesians 4:11-13 (NLT)

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.  I John 4:17 (NKJV)

18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:18-20 (ESV)
