Your Fantastic Future

II Corinthians 4:13-5:10

¹⁶ Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.  II Corinthians 4:16 (NKJV)

⁵ Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.  II Corinthians 5:5 (NKJV)

There is something wonderful being birthed through your life. Paul calls it a "weight of glory" (4:17).  Your salvation - your regeneration - was just the start of something eternal. It is beyond your wildest imagining the fantastic things God has for you. 

In fact, it is so great that you're going to have to get a new body to accommodate the power, the joy, the LIFE that is now growing in you. Your present physical body just can't keep up. 

So, the Lord says that we are to focus on that which is breaking forth. Don't major on that which is failing. We are GUARANTEED that this new life in us will prevail. It can't be stopped. 

The Bible tells us this. The Holy Spirit is the DOWN PAYMENT on your future. God has a plan. His plans are perfect. He never fails. Therefore, you have a FANTASTIC FUTURE.
