A God of Blessing

"One Year Bible" Old Testament History Passage
Leviticus 25:47-27:13

"If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them, then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit...I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, thay you should no longer be their slaves; I have broken the bands of your yoke and made you walk upright."  Levitucus 26:3-4,13 (NKJV)

Our God is full of blessing.  The promises of the Word of God are magnificent to consider.  Some folks consider the Book of Leviticus to be dry and monotonous.  The passage for today is, however, one of the richest, most beautiful descriptions of a blessed life you will find in all of Scripture.

He promises you FRUITFULNESS.

He promises you OUTPOURING OF HIS SPIRIT.

He promises you VICTORY OVER YOUR ENEMIES.

He promises you STRENGTH FROM FELLOWSHIP.

He promises you OVERFLOWING HARVEST.

He promises you HABITATION -- He'll come dwell where you are!

Sometimes, in the midst of the grind of life, we forget how far God has brought us and how wonderful His work is in us.  He has taken broken, bound people who had no future and caused them to stand upright (a picture of righteousness).  Even today, He BENDS LOW to us and lifts our countenance giving strength to help us STAND UP.  He holds us in His hands.
